Solomon Tifsehit Tesfaye

Solomon Tifsehit started her career at Wollega University as a Lecturer and is now an associate professor of entomology. Her research focuses on rehabilitating termite-degraded land through integrated management methods in western Ethiopia, where termite infestation has been a significant problem. In 2007, Tifsehit was awarded a certificate of recognition by Wollega University as an outstanding contributor to the University's achievement. In 2019 she was recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Ethiopia as an exceptional female researcher.
She aspires to be the best scientist in her research field by contributing to solving the challenges of African farmers at large and Ethiopian farmers in particular.
