On August 4, 2022, from 1200hrs to 1330hrs EAT, African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) will host an interactive policy dialogue featuring its Gender Responsive Agriculture Systems Policy (GRASP) Fellowship. The webinar will focus on the new Fellowship and its contribution to the global and regional priorities of agri-food policies.
Following the Call of the GRASP Fellowship targeting Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda, the webinar will provide a forum for potential applicants to learn more about the Fellowship and what to consider during their application.
The webinar will feature a panel of gender, agriculture, and food systems policy experts who will highlight the transformative potential of gender-responsive agricultural policies and the role of AWARD Policy Fellows in fostering policy change for equitable food systems.

About the GRASP Fellowship
An initiative of AWARD funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the GRASP Fellowship is fostering policy change across regional, sub-regional and national levels for gender equality and women’s empowerment. Through the GRASP Fellowship, AWARD seeks to grow a pool of confident, capable, and influential African women to lead policy changes to improve African women and men’s smallholders’ livelihoods.
