Nicole's Ph.D. thesis evaluates how land management in agroecosystems impacts ecosystem services (ES), with the ultimate aim of designing a spatially explicit Evaluation Framework Tool (EFT) to assess the environmental and socio-economic costs generated by agri-food systems, comparing agroecological approaches to conventionally managed systems.
