Molly Akello Okoth

Molly Akello Okoth is a Ph.D. candidate in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology at Makerere University in Uganda. Her doctoral research explores the genetic diversity of Dolichos beans for drought resistance.

Molly has previously worked as a junior research scientist at the Kenya Agricultural Livestock and Research Organization (KALRO) and with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) as a Technical Specialist Staff Development and Academic Mobility Officer.

She aims to establish a career in plant breeding and is looking forward to opportunities for future research collaborations.
