Gloria's Ph.D. research focuses on evaluating innovative technologies and substrates for implementing Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for the treatment and reuse of wastewater in Mediterranean conditions. One of the main focuses of the research concerns the use of microalgae for the natural purification of wastewater in the agri-food sector.
