Garcia is pursuing a Ph.D. in Experimental Sciences and Technology, specifically in environmental technologies and the circular bioeconomy. His research topic is in the production of exopolysaccharides (EPS) as biostimulants for sustainable agriculture from different agri-food wastes and by-products using solid-state fermentation (SSF) as the bioprocessing technology.
