Damigou Bammite

Damigou Bammite is a physiologist.  He has always been focused on understanding the connection between people and their environment and improving human health.  He has a specific interest in geology, mainly in biochemistry and physiology.  Thus, after gaining a Bachelor’s degree in 2008, he then opted for a Master's degree in Animal Physiology, which he obtained in 2009.  As part of the project, he attended a number of capacity-building sessions on project research writing, focusing on the NUS crops in Lomé, Cotonou and Ibadan. During these training sessions, he gained extensive knowledge of biotechnology, molecular biology, genetic diversity analysis and bioinformatics.
He is currently leading a new IFS-funded research project, following his PhD thesis results.
