Ahmadou Sow

Ahmadou Sow's research is based on developing innovative approaches for sustainable pest management in the face of climate change. He is involved in the Fair-Sahel project (Fostering an Agroecological Intensification to Improve Farmers’ Resilience in the Sahel), which is focused on designing agroecological crop systems for sustainable crop pest management in Senegal, based on innovative landscaping and farming practices that improve local soil fertility and biological activity.
His aim is to follow a scientific career in ecology, specialising in community ecology, and to address issues related to climate change, biodiversity loss and food insecurity, in poor and developing countries.
