Not yet there: Progress Toward Equitable Agricultural Research and Innovation- Dr. Susan Kaaria

In a candid conversation with the Panafrican Agriculture magazine, Dr. Susan Kaaria,  AWARD Director, discussed the persistent barriers that hinder women from meaningful contributions to agriculture. She notes that while there has been some progress in addressing gender inequality, for example, the increased emphasis on policies and programs to pay attention to the needs and priorities of women, we are not there yet.

In the latest edition of the Panafrican Agriculture magazine, Dr. Kaaria highlights AWARD’s efforts toward leveling the playing field and how we are enabling gender-responsive agricultural research and development.

We invite you to read more about AWARD’s contribution to equitable agricultural research and innovation and Dr. Kaaria’s vision.
