Alliance for Accelerated Crop Improvement in Africa (ACACIA) invites applications for an upcoming science training course at Pwani University to be held on April 3-16, 2019. The training targets early-career researchers from across sub-Saharan Africa whose research focuses on plant health.
The course will cover a broad range of the latest techniques designed to advance research in plant health. It will also provide a holistic insight into plant health by equipping the participants with the necessary skills to advance in their career.
The training is the second of its kind following a successful pilot held at Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), Tanzania, in 2017. More information on the course and how to apply is availbale on the ACACIA website here.
