AfriPlantSci2019: Training Opportunity for African Plant Health Researchers!

Alliance for Accelerated Crop Improvement in Africa (ACACIA) invites applications for an upcoming science training course at Pwani University to be held on April 3-16, 2019.  The training targets early-career researchers from across sub-Saharan Africa whose research focuses on plant health.

The course will cover a broad range of the latest techniques designed to advance research in plant health. It will also provide a holistic insight into plant health by equipping the participants with the necessary skills to advance in their career.

The training is the second of its kind following a successful pilot held at Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), Tanzania, in 2017. More information on the course and how to apply is availbale on the ACACIA website here.
