Vonifanja Ramanoelina is a Teacher-Researcher at the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar. She specializes in Engineering Sciences, focusing on the quality and valorization of agricultural products. Inspired by the themes of agroecology, gender, and climate change, it is in the academic world that she deploys her skills to train future generations of agronomists. Vonifanja is also interested in the public policymaking process on food security and gender mainstreaming and is excited to explore this topic through the AWARD Policy Fellowship.
I am very excited to improve my skills in project design with regard to food security policy and gender issues in Madagascar. There is a gap between research and current public policy
