Volatsara Rahetlah is a Teacher-Researcher at the University of Antananarivo. Her expertise covers a wide range of themes around agroecology, namely climate change, smart agriculture, and food security. She is also interested in gender issues and excels in coordinating community projects to empower rural women. One of her priorities is transferring practical knowledge for a more equitable and sustainable future, especially for young people and women. Volatsara hopes that the AWARD Policy Fellowship will help her improve her training and support capabilities and consolidate her understanding of environmental and agricultural policies in Madagascar.
