2022
Tendai Saidi began to focus more on the role of agriculture in nutrition two years ago and has since become passionate about developing food system solutions that can help tackle the triple burden of malnutrition in Malawi. Tendai currently works as the Head of Programs and Policy for the Civil Society Agricultural Network (CISANET). Tendai looks forward to enhancing her policy analysis skills and learning how to influence others better. Her research will be centered on agroecology and how it can become the source of diverse and rich diets, particularly for women and children.
“When practiced properly, agro-ecology provides diversified ecosystems which become the source of diverse and rich diets, improving health outcomes for the most vulnerable, including women and children.”
