Temitayo Adeyamo
Nigeria
2022
As a Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), Temitayo Adeyamo explores the various issues facing those in the agricultural sector and how policies and frameworks can be adapted to overcome these. Through the course of her work, gender dimensions within farming have become of key interest to Temitayo – and she’s keen to provide women with the support and access they require to succeed. GRASP’s gender focus is hugely appealing to Temitayo, and during the program, she hopes to learn more about ways women farmers can be empowered – and put these steps into motion.
“A career in agricultural research is one I love due to its ability to transform the lives of millions.”
