Servienne Sebgo

2023
Servienne Sebgo never planned to pursue a career in agriculture. Despite this, she became Burkina Faso's first female Soil Engineer, who studies the formation and evolution of soils, and has been working at the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries since 2011. Servienne has been helping implement the Burkina Faso Government's agricultural policy for the past three years. Servienne has also been Executive Secretary of the Association des Femmes Pour le Developpement Durable de l'Agriculture (Women's Association for the Sustainable Development of Agriculture) since 2020 and is truly committed to fighting for the cause of women through sustainable development.
