Having completed both her Master’s and PhD at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Patricia Ukegbu now works at the institution as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Deputy Dean of the College of Applied Food Sciences and Tourism. Aware of the significant role that nutrition and agriculture have in society, she is keen to pass her knowledge on to the younger generation. This understanding is also driving her focus on ways to promote evidence-based policy to improve and champion healthy diets among adolescents.
