As a hydrogeologist, Julienne Tiendrebeogo ensures water availability for all uses, particularly agriculture. She has held senior positions within the Ministry of Water and Sanitation in Burkina Faso for four years. Julienne is interested in the role of water in rural development, inspired by experiences that demonstrated the possibilities of agricultural development in desert areas. By participating in the AWARD Policy Fellowship, she dreams of replicating successful water management examples in the Sahel.
