Working for both the Dairy Development Authority (DDA) and as an Independent Agriculture Consultant has afforded Gloria Arinaitwe plenty of experience within food systems. Her role as a Senior Dairy Inspector at the DDA sees her implement government policies ranging from milk production to consumption, while her work as a Consultant focuses on policies and guidelines related to food safety and agricultural trade. Gloria believes that food systems, governance, and gender inclusivity is a “complex issue” and aims to explore how policymakers can better understand and influence the topic – as doing so will aid in easing food inequality in the country.
