Dalani is pursuing a master’s in Aquaculture and Fisheries Science, specializing in "Assessment of socio-economic resilience of small-scale fisheries and fishing communities to cyclones: A case study of Cyclone Freddy in Lake Chilwa." She aims to develop policies in climate change adaptation and socio-economic resilience for both the aquaculture and capture fisheries sectors.
I aim to strengthen socio-economic resilience through social protection programs, better access to climate information, and fostering international cooperation for sustainable fisheries management.
Area of Focus
Aquaculture- Enhancing the resilience of aquaculture and fisheries to climate change impacts, such as cyclones, flooding, and prolonged dry spells.
