Chinyelu is an Assistant Lecturer and a PhD student specializing in Agricultural Extension Communication in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Development Studies, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her research interests and scholarly work are centered on promoting sustainable development focused on protecting the climate, life below water, life on land, and reducing poverty, hunger, and food insecurity. She is currently researching the use of digital communication to assess farmer’s compliance with the use of biodiversity conservation methods in agricultural production.
I want to acquire leadership skills that will enable me to become an influential scientist to lead critical advances and innovations in agricultural research and development.
Area of Focus
Addressing the non-biofriendly agricultural production practices of farmers and how to leverage the use of digital communication while formulating policies to encourage farmers' compliance with the adoption of biodiversity conservation methods.
