Dr. Pamela Marinda is a lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Zambia. Her areas of specialization include agricultural economics and nutrition. She has designed and delivered several innovative training programs for NGOs, research, and academic institutions across Africa. Prior to joining the university, she served as the East Africa Programme Officer for the Scientific Information for Agricultural Education in Africa project, a collaborative initiative between A. Mann Library at Cornell University and ITOCA (Information Training and Outreach Centre for Africa).Dr. Marindaholds a Doctorate in Agricultural Economics and a Master’s in Agricultural Sciences, Food Security, and Natural Resource Management, both from the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. Withover 16 years of experience in the management of small and medium-size projects in agriculture,plus core competencies inleadership, program implementation, and communication, she facilitates the science skills courses for AWARD.
