The Flagship AWARD Fellowship is a career development program that invests in leading women agricultural scientists to ensure a growing cohort of capable, confident, and influential women scientists available to lead critical advances and innovations for the agricultural sector.

Through the Flagship AWARD Fellowship, AWARD is cultivating a growing pool of women to be  (a) effective within agriculturalresearch institutions; (b) effective across a range of research disciplines serving the agricultural sector; (c) responsive to gender issues in the service of women, without excluding men; and (d) technically competent to generate innovations needed by rural smallholders, most of whom are women.

The AWARD Leadership Program for Emerging African Women in Science is a customized learning experience for young African women in science under 35. The program will equip participants with the skills and confidence to lead and innovate in the scientific world.

The Accelerating African Women’s Leadership in Climate Action Fellowship seeks to achieve a twin goal of increasing the number of African women leading climate change action and catalyze production of climate solutions that work for women smallholders.

The African Women in Data Science Fellowship seeks to cultivate and empower a growing pipeline of African women working at the intersection of data science, agrifood systems, and climate resilience. Fellows will be equipped to apply data- driven approaches to solve challenges in agrifood systems and climate resilience, develop innovative solutions, and lead initiatives that foster sustainable, gender responsive outcomes at different levels

The Young Impact Associates (YIA) Agriculture Impact Fellowship aims to strengthen data-driven leadership and amplify the role of young African professionals in evidence-based decision-making across agrifood systems. Targeting professionals under 35 years of age, the Fellowship offers immersive training focused on leadership, impact measurement, and using evidence to inform programming and policies. The program is implemented in three countries: Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda and participants are competitively selected through an open Call for Applications.

The She Leads African Food Futures (SHEAF) Fellowship seeks to build a vibrant, highly connected network of African women professionals from diverse disciplines to drive policy and programmatic change for equitable agri-food systems in sub-Saharan Africa

The Women in Agriculture Leadership Program is an initiative under the Africa-Australia Partnership  for Climate Responsive Agriculture that seeks to strengthen the capability, confidence and influence of African women scientists to lead and participate in climate- resilient agricultural research.
