The Network of Ugandan Women in Agricultural Research and Development (UGAWARD) is the Ugandan chapter of AWARD consisting of Fellows, mentors, mentees and other individuals, including men, interested in driving the agricultural research and development agenda to specifically empower women for agricultural development and transformation. UGAWARD has 115 members from different disciplines including Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics; Forestry, Veterinary Medicine, Food Science, Engineering, Health and Nutrition to mention but a few. This network of professionals envision Ugandan women at the forefront of science and technology for agricultural development and transformation.
