Grace Oluwakemi Babarinde
Nigeria 2014
Grace Oluwakemi Babarinde liked harvesting crops—the easiest work on her parents’ farm—as she grew up in southwestern Nigeria. “That’s where my interest in agriculture came from,” she says. On the farm, she enjoyed experimenting with processing fruits and vegetables. “My hobbies included cooking and extracting juice during the fruit-growing season.
I have developed short-, medium-, and long-term goals, and I am on the right track.
Field of Research
I particularly enjoy encouraging timid students and seeing them go on to succeed.
