Yvonne Etchutakang is a researcher in post-harvest technologies, specialising in rural food production systems. Her research explores seafood processing and preservation, focusing on sustainable techniques adapted to local contexts. Her goal is to use innovation to add value to existing seafood products and develop new products based on local agricultural raw materials. Yvonne also designs and improves equipment and processing methods tailored for small-scale rural processors. Through her research, she aims to promote affordable, high-quality production systems that strengthen rural livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to food security and sustainable agricultural development.
