Ashley Mutiso is the Co-Founder of Itanya Africa Group, where she leads strategy and partnerships to strengthen climate resilience and food systems through regenerative agriculture, climate-smart water infrastructure, and youth-inclusive livelihoods in Kenya’s lower eastern region. A seasoned gender inclusion and management consultant, she brings over a decade of experience advancing inclusive development, financial inclusion, and climate action across 13+ countries through institutions such as Responsible Innovations, M-Kyala Ventures, Value for Women, Includovate, Busara, and Dalberg. Ashley has designed and delivered inclusive toolkits, strategic plans, and impact frameworks for DFIs, SMEs, and multilateral agencies, while driving grassroots interventions that center women and youth as change agents. Recognized as a Leading African Women in Food Fellow (2024) and an AWARD Climate Action Fellow (2025), she combines rigorous expertise with lived community partnerships to co-create scalable, equity-driven solutions for the future of African food systems
She leads initiatives to build resilient, inclusive agricultural systems and supports strategies to integrate gender considerations into organizational practices.
