Mutiso Ashley is a social innovator and co-founder of Itanya Africa Group, dedicated to advancing gender inclusion and resilience for women and youth in agriculture. With over a decade of experience managing interdisciplinary projects across Africa and beyond, she champions sustainable livelihoods through innovative farming practices.  As an Associate at Value for Women, Mutiso guides organizations in developing gender-inclusive strategies, ensuring women's voices are central to development efforts. Her expertise spans consulting roles with Dalberg, Includovate, and Busara, where she has contributed to impactful, equity-driven solutions. Mutiso is a 2024 Leading African Women in Food Fellow with a Master’s in Global Management and a Bachelor’s in Finance, inspiring change across Africa and beyond.
She leads initiatives to build resilient, inclusive agricultural systems and supports strategies to integrate gender considerations into organizational practices.
