Ms. Florin Kwamboka Nyakawa works at the intersection of sustainable enterprise development, clean energy innovation, and women’s economic empowerment within agrifood systems. As Founder and CEO of Alpharise Network Ventures, she leads interventions that convert agricultural and organic waste into affordable clean energy solutions, including biomass briquettes for households and small food businesses. Through the venture, Florin designs and implements community‑based livelihood programs that integrate climate‑smart practices with entrepreneurship, training women and youth in briquette production, business skills, and market access. Her work promotes circular economic approaches, reduces reliance on unsustainable fuels, and expands inclusive economic opportunities. As a PhD researcher, her studies explore how grassroots innovations can scale for broader environmental and socio‑economic impact.
I aim to sharpen my leadership, deepen my data‑driven approach, and build bridges between women entrepreneurs and the systems that shape their futures, so the communities I serve don’t just survive, they lead
