Dr. Peter A. Minang is the Principal Science Advisor CIFOR-ICRAF, Leader for Landscapes Governance Theme and?Global Coordinator, ASB Partnership for the Tropical Forest Margins at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF). He received his PhD in 2007 in Environmental Policy from the University of Twente and the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), Enschede, Netherlands. His master’s degree is in Planning and Management of Natural Resources from International Institute for Geoinformation Sciences (ITC), Enschede, The Netherlands. He has more than 20 years of experience working on climate change forestry and landscapes in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
His current research interests include the nexus between adaptation and mitigation to climate change; and the interface between environmental services, development, and multifunctional landscapes.? Recently led the publication of this volume on Multifunctional Landscapes. Climate-Smart Landscapes: Multifunctionality in Practice.
