Professor Peter Njuho is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in South Africa. As a specialist in the design and analysis of surveys and experimental designs, his wealth of experience in statistical modeling, scientific data management, design, and analysis of complex survey data, continues to be highly sought after by national agricultural research systems, academic and private institutions.
He has consulted for the Rockefeller Foundation, Ford Foundation, World Bank, TSBF Institute, the Institute for Commercial Forestry Research amongst many others. He continues to serve as a member of the VLIR-UOS Selection Commission, Africa region, which is involved in the evaluation of research proposals. He also serves as an editorial board member of the African Crop Science journal and is a reviewer of various other journals.
Prof. Njuho holds a PhD in Statistics from Kansas State University and an MSc in Statistics from North Carolina State University in the USA. He is credited with over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and several conference presentations.
Prof. Njuho facilitates the research proposal and scientific writing courses for AWARD.
