Elodie Dimon
Benin 2020
Elodie Dimon is an agricultural engineer in Animal Production at the Doctoral School of Agronomic and Water Sciences at the University of Parakou. Her research work covers both zootechnics (animal nutrition and feed, promotion and conservation of local animal breeds, by-products that cannot be used by people), and climate change (perception and adaptation strategies).  Thus, one of her main interests lies in understanding the views of women working as small ruminant breeders amid climate change, and in assessing the sustainability of the strategies developed. This research will provide a better understanding of small ruminant farms, and reduce their vulnerability to climate change.
As an engineer, Elodie aims to become a research leader among the intergenerational network of research scientists.
