Ariom Thaddaeus Obaji is an epidemiologist and a lecturer at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria (FUNAAB). His research focuses on the impact of microbes on climate change and antimicrobial resistance. Obaji aspires to be a principal investigator in climate change biology.
He hopes to incorporate the knowledge of microbial "unseen majority" to understand how humans and other life forms can withstand climate change and address the indiscriminate use of antibiotic which is a common practice among African smallholder farmers.
