“Powering Planetary Change: Climate Solutions for Africa, by Africa” is a groundbreaking documentary series produced by the African Women in Agricultural Research for Development (AWARD). This series highlights innovative research interventions and scientific advancements led by African scientists, beneficiaries of the AWARD One Planet Fellowship Program.

In this video, we feature Rokiatou Traore, founder of Herou Alliance and a 2019 One Planet Fellowship Laureate Candidate from Mali. Traore’s research focuses on exploring Moringa as a way to address global warming while creating sustainable economic and social benefits for rural women and youth. She trains farmers in the production, processing, and packaging of 100% natural Moringa-based products.
