Overview

We target African National Agricultural Research Institutions, Universities, and the wider Agricultural Research for Development (AR4D) environment to influence their policies and practices toward gender responsiveness. Under the Gender-Responsive Agricultural Research and Development (GRARD) Program, we have trained 377 individuals from these institutions in various skills, including leadership, incorporating gender in agricultural research, mentoring, and science writing.

Gender-Responsive Agricultural Research and Development (GRARD)

Through GRARD we work with national agricultural research and development research institutions to strengthen their ability to deliver their mandate in ways that consider the needs and priorities of the wide range of their end-users.
