Veronica Nakiwolo

Ms. Veronica Nakiwolo is the Agricultural Officer in Kassanda DLG, Uganda, where she leads the implementation of government agricultural programs and provides technical support to farmers. She specializes in sustainable agriculture, food systems, and rural development, strongly focusing on climate resilience and gender inclusion. Veronica has successfully led a World Bank-funded initiative under the ACDP, increasing crop yields by 35% by adopting improved varieties. She has also championed collective marketing and policy advocacy to improve women's access to advisory services. Through the GRASP Fellowship, she aims to strengthen her leadership, research capacity, and mentorship impact across Africa.
