Fred is a PhD student in agricultural and applied economics, majoring in agricultural policy and trade. He is enthusiastic about value-chain development, food and nutrition security, and gender in agricultural development. He is a Regional Extension and Training Coordinator (AVCP -MAAIF and ADB). He leads the coordination, planning, budgeting, reporting, and implementation of AVCP project activities focusing on improving household income, food security, and climate resilience.
I have developed a particular interest in agricultural policy development, which underpins economics and behavioral change for improved livelihood among smallholder farmers and policymakers.
Area of Focus
Strengthening commercial agricultural practices, sustainable natural resource management, and agricultural enterprise development.
