Augustina Quaynor Korkoi
Ghana 2022
After studying for a Master’s degree in Research and Policy at the University of Ghana, Augustina Quaynor turned her focus to agriculture – a sector she had a solid understanding of, as her family grows and produces maize seed for farmers. Previously working to develop youth-focused programs, networks, and services afforded Augustina experience in the policy space, and she continues in this realm in her current role as a Program Assistant at the Foundation for Security and Development in Africa. During the GRASP Fellowship, she looks forward to meeting and learning from others working in the sector and using her newfound knowledge to drive her research work.
“I understand the challenges young farmers face, and I want to help them get financial support to study agriculture or start an agribusiness.”
Area of Focus
Promoting access to funds and intervention for agriculture business to improve the lives of young people.
