Muema Eunice Ngina is an accomplished agribusiness and trade expert with extensive experience in export supply chain management, farmer mobilization, and sustainable market access. As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of East Africa Market Development Associates (EAMDA), she oversees the Export Supply Hub (ESH) in Makueni, linking smallholder farmers to global markets, enhancing aggregation systems, and leading capacity-building initiatives in Good Agronomic Practices (GAP) and export compliance. Her expertise spans agribusiness development, climate action, local economic growth, and fostering partnerships that boost farmer incomes, reduce post-harvest losses, and promote youth and women’s participation in agriculture. Previously, as Export Market Development Lead at Fluna, Muema facilitated trade finance access, export readiness, and cross-border partnerships for key value chains, including mangoes, avocados, coffee, and macadamia. Additionally, she serves as the Membership Growth Lead for KENAFF in Makueni, expanding farmer membership and strengthening cooperatives. Her research focuses on sustainable value chains, aggregation models, digital supply chain innovations, and climate-resilient agribusiness.
