Ms. Akakpo Adjovi Efanam is the Head of Environmental Affairs at the Directorate of Planning, Agricultural Statistics, and Monitoring and Evaluation (DPSSE). She leads environmental and social assessments of agricultural projects, ensuring gender and social dimensions are fully integrated. Her work involves developing safeguarding tools such as ESIA, PGPP, and CGES, while aligning sectoral policies with national and international standards. She also leads strategic planning, performance reporting, and socio-environmental data analysis to better target vulnerable groups, especially women and youth. Ms. Efanam also coordinates institutional capacity through training and awareness, advancing gender equality, social protection, and sustainable development.
