Joan leads the Communications Unit in the creation of evidence-based knowledge to amplify the impact of AWARD’s initiatives and fellowships beneficiaries. She also manages AWARD’s communication platforms and channels for sustained stakeholder engagement. Joan holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She is currently undertaking a Masters' degree in Development Communication at Daystar University.
