Dr. Christopher Oyoo Yaye is a governance and development consultant. He lectures in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Pwani University in Kilifi, Kenya.
He serves as a gender expert and consultant with the Ecumenical HIV&AIDS Initiative in Africa (EHAIA), a program of the World Council of Churches where he works on Gender Mainstreaming and Transformative Masculinities.
Dr. Yaye holds a DPhil in Philosophy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, an MPhil in Philosophy from Moi University, Kenya, a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Theology (STB), and another in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Pontifical Urbanian University, Italy. He is also a certified practitioner for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, (MBTI) tool.
He has a passion for transformative leadership and gender mainstreaming. Christopher facilitates the Mentoring Program for AWARD.
