Gebeyanesh Worku Zerssa is a Lecturer at Jimma University, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, in the Department of Natural Resources. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in climate-smart agriculture, environmental conservation, soil fertility management, greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable agriculture, and smallholder farming systems. Her research and professional expertise focus on advancing sustainable agricultural practices and natural resource management, including soil conservation, fertility improvement, land use planning, and climate adaptation and mitigation strategies. She also contributes to project evaluation and consultancy with an emphasis on climate resilience and sustainable food systems. Her work supports the development of environmentally sustainable, climate-resilient agriculture aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
