Esther Adhiambo Mukoya is a lecturer and researcher in ICT, specializing in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics. Her work focuses on developing intelligent, data-driven models to support informed decision-making and innovation across sectors. She researches explainable AI systems and optimization using metaheuristic algorithms to ensure transparency, accountability, and accuracy. Currently, she applies remote sensing and machine learning to classify land cover and monitor changes over time, informing climate-resilient agricultural planning and resource management. Passionate about using analytical thinking to address real-world challenges, Esther leverages data science to advance agrifood systems, climate-smart strategies, and environmental health solutions across Africa.
