Netsanet Tizazu Mersha is a Lecturer in Agricultural Biotechnology at the University of Gondar, specializing in Animal Breeding and Genetics. She is also a PhD candidate in Animal Biotechnology, with research focused on applying data-driven biotechnological approaches to enhance climate resilience in livestock. Her work aims to address pressing agricultural challenges through innovative biotechnology solutions. Netsanet is also committed to mentoring the next generation of African women scientists and contributing to evidence-based agricultural policy.
