Mirabelle Rubielle Mahuwènan Gandji works with the WildSeed Oil project, an initiative that promotes employment and entrepreneurship among women and youth in Benin by adding value to Ricinodendron heudelotii and Momordica spp, seeds as sources of bioactive fatty acids. Working alongside fellow doctoral researchers, she helps generate scientific knowledge and practical solutions that support social inclusion and sustainable livelihoods. As a PhD candidate, she leads the project’s ecological component, designing germination and growth experiments, analysing adaptation mechanisms, and proposing domestication strategies for R. heudelotii.
