Susan Sagina Adongo is an environmental scientist advancing regenerative agriculture and climate resilience. At Flux Carbon, she led Africa’s first field deployment of Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) to restore soils, improve smallholder yields, and remove atmospheric CO₂ in western Kenya. She is pursuing a PhD at Maseno University, co-developing a scalable ERW adoption model with farmers, researchers, and policymakers. Her work integrates soil science, GIS mapping, and socio-economic analysis to guide climate-smart agriculture. Susan also consults on marine spatial planning and the World Bank’s Sustainable Ocean Plan, promoting gender-responsive, nature-positive solutions for resilient food and blue economies.
