Ms. Dakpogan is an environmental engineer with a passion for wildlife and the management of protected areas. In 2011, she co-founded the Organization for Sustainable Development and Biodiversity (ODDB NGO), where she holds the position of Executive Director. Her work focuses on conserving the biodiversity of Benin's forests and, in particular, that of the Community Biodiversity Conservation Areas. Her projects involve forest restoration, ecological monitoring, and environmental education initiatives. She also promotes alternative income-generating activities for communities based in community forests. Ms. Dakpogan also supports the distribution of cleaner cookstoves and implements ecosystem-based adaptation measures
Her work focuses on conserving the biodiversity of Benin's forests and, in particular, that of the Community Biodiversity Conservation Areas.
