Chihana Kapichila Tapiwa Sphiwe is passionate about water resources and environmental management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Management and Development from Mzuzu University and a Master of Science in Water Resources Modelling and Governance from the University of Malawi. Currently, Chihana is pursuing a PhD in Sanitation at Mzuzu University. Over the years, she has accumulated valuable experience in water resources, hydrology, and gender-sensitive development, having worked in various roles, including as an Assistant Hydrologist with Risk Management Solution India (a consultancy) and as a Trainer-Coach/Facilitator with Women's Legal Resources Centre (WORLEC) and FG Consulting.
Chihana is a trainer and facilitator with expertise, focusing on gender equality and economic empowerment through participatory approaches.
