Alhassan Bawa Tracy Rashida is the founder and CEO of BOOD Company Limited. Her passion for agriculture began in 2018, leading her to specialize in commercial cereal and legume production using conservation agriculture practices. Committed to empowering smallholder farmers—especially women—in Ghana’s Upper West Region, Alhassan implements innovative in-grower models that enhance productivity and sustainability. Under her leadership, BOOD has secured grants and participated in prestigious executive master training programs, including those from the Kosmos Innovation Centre and the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre under the Standard Chartered Women in Technology initiative. As CEO, Alhassan oversees a thriving network of over 500 farmers across three districts, leveraging her expertise and achievements to advance her vision of sustainable agriculture in Ghana.
