Lillian Mulupi is committed to teaching residents in coastal communities that many negative environmental changes are caused by people. “Local people often go on doing things without appreciating the effect on the environment, while scientists do research, publish their findings, and put them in libraries,” says Mulupi. “I’d like to help bridge that gap.”
